The Swedish history of the Prazsky Krysarik
In 2006 the first purebred prazsky krysariks was imported to Sweden. One of those was Rocky though he wasn´t registrated in the Swedish kennel club until 2009, (due to my brothers unawareness, he was the owner until 2009).
2007 the PKGS (Prazsky Krysarik Group of Sweden) applied for a national approval of the breed Prazsky Krysarik. PK was approved in january- 07.
26 imported PK´s where registrated, and the first swedish litter was born.
In 2008 the Prazsky krysarik was allowed to participate on official dog shows.
At this time there were 57 Prazsky krysariks registered in the swedish kennel club, 32 of these where imports.
In cooperation with the Swedish kennel club the breed also was approved in Norway.
In 2009 we had 73 more PK's registered in SKK (swedish kennel club), 22 of them where imports. The breed was also approved in Finland.
2010 we got 124 PK's registered in SKK and 51 of them where imports. A total of 188 PK´s where registered in april- 2010.
The breed was also approved in Germany.
2011 there where 28 registered PK's in SKK and 2 of them where imports.
A total of 311 Prazsky Krysarik are registered- april 2010 in SKK.
